The role of Host-Food Runner-Support Staff at McMenamins Grand Lodge is integral to ensuring guests receive an exceptional experience. This position involves multiple responsibilities including greeting and seating customers in a high-volume environment, answering phone calls, and directing patrons to their preferred or assigned tables. Candidates must be prepared to respond to guest questions regarding the pub or property, as well as promptly expediting and delivering food orders from the kitchen to patrons to ensure timely service. Additional duties include helping to clean and set tables, restocking supplies, performing general cleaning tasks, and working in both smoking and non-smoking areas, including seasonal outdoor work.
The role necessitates mental agility and the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced and deadline-driven setting.
