Job Description

Aramark is a leading global provider of food, facilities, and uniform services, proudly serving millions of guests every day across 15 countries worldwide. Rooted in service and united by its purpose, Aramark is dedicated to doing great things for its employees, partners, communities, and the planet. The company places strong emphasis on fostering an inclusive work environment that provides equal employment opportunities without discrimination based on race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, gender, pregnancy, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, military status, veteran status, or other characteristics protected by law. With a mission to empower personal and professional growth, Aramark offers a work culture designed to develop talents and fuel passions, encouraging employees to reach their full potential in a supportive, challenging environment.

The Government Sales Manager role is based at an Aramark-operated hotel facility boasting 940 finely-appointed guest rooms and suites. These rooms are amenity-rich retreats equipped with modern touches designed to make every guest stay an exceptional experience. Additionally, the property features a world-class conference center offering over 75,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event space, ideal for business gatherings, social events, and conventions. Located near the University of Oklahoma and just a short drive from Downtown Oklahoma City, this venue offers both convenience and exciting opportunities to make the most of the Sooner State.

As a Government Sales Manager, you will be responsible for strategically growing Aramark’s government sales segment by meeting and exceeding quarterly and annual sales goals. This position demands exceptional skills in building and maintaining a robust sales pipeline through continuous prospecting and client engagement. You will be required to research and gather relevant client intelligence before meetings to tailor sales programs that align perfectly with client needs, thereby increasing sales effectiveness and close rates. Your responsibilities encompass negotiating pricing, product, and equipment options and coordinating essential program demonstrations to secure new business effectively. The role requires a proactive approach, utilizing telemarketing, cold calling, and other targeted selling strategies to secure appointments with prospective clients.

Success in this role hinges on your ability to develop a territory-specific growth plan, meet prospecting activity expectations, and maintain diligent records in sales software databases. Preparing for client appointments by conducting thorough research and customizing sales materials is a crucial aspect of the role. Follow-up meetings and close coordination with client partners to meet timelines and deliverables for installation are equally important to ensure customer satisfaction and the seamless execution of sales programs. As part of Aramark’s culture, adaptability is key; your job duties might evolve to align with the company’s commitment to providing exceptional service and support to both employees and customers. This dynamic role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to and grow within a globally respected company that values innovation, integrity, and inclusive growth.
