Job Duties
- fulfill opening and closing duties such as organizing supplies and equipment
- clean all equipment and work areas
- secure premises by locking doors
- organize, stock, and maintain work areas
- enter orders into the cash register system
- collect payments from customers
- take orders and enter them into the MICROS system
- prepare food and coffee
- ensure appliances like coffee machines are turned on and off appropriately
- clean tables and café rolling areas
- maintain cleanliness of dishes, utensils, work areas, tables, and equipment throughout the day
- provide change for expected transaction levels
- complete cashier reports and balance the register at the end of the shift
- report maintenance issues and safety hazards
- comply with company safety policies and procedures
- keep uniform and personal appearance clean and professional
- protect company assets and confidential information
- support and treat coworkers with dignity and respect
- assist the team to meet common goals
- comply with quality assurance standards
- move, lift, push, drag, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds unassisted
- stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- visually inspect tools and equipment for defects
- manipulate objects requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
- reach above head and below knees
- bend, twist, and maneuver in tight spaces
- ascend and descend service stairs and ramps
- greet and acknowledge guests according to company standards
