Job Requirements
- U.S. work authorization
- bachelor’s degree in hotel or restaurant management
- minimum two years experience as a Restaurant General Manager in a full service or luxury hotel environment
- strong leadership and team development skills
- knowledge of food and beverage operations and cost control
- proficiency with relevant computer systems
- excellent guest service skills
- ability to handle complaints and special requests professionally
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- commitment to uphold company policies and culture
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree specializing in hotel or restaurant management
- two years of Restaurant General Manager leadership experience in a full service restaurant or luxury hotel environment
- experience in leading a team and developing management staff
- knowledge of food and beverage service, cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting
- ability to operate food and beverage computer systems including MICROS, Microsoft Office, OpenTable, labor management, and payroll systems
- positive attitude with a generous and uplifting team approach
- ability to anticipate and prioritize guest needs
- energetic and professional approach to hospitality
Job Duties
- Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, oversee, and discipline all employees in Goldfinch Tavern
- manage daily responsibilities and planning for outlet operation
- provide visible leadership and promote good public relations
- handle complaints, concerns, or special guest requests
- ensure the quality of all food items, ingredients, and preparation methods
- provide expert knowledge of wine and spirits
- control labor and operating expenses through scheduling, budgeting, purchasing, inventory, and cash control
- attend regular operational meetings for effective coordination between departments
- inspect physical condition of facilities and equipment and recommend improvements
- comply with Four Seasons’ work rules and standards of conduct
- work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
