Jacobs Entertainment, Inc. (JEI) is a prominent developer, owner, and operator of gaming and entertainment facilities throughout the United States. Established with a legacy of excellence and committed to ethical leadership, JEI has built a reputation for outstanding training programs and open, transparent communication with its employees. Their dedication to creating an exceptional work environment fosters growth, professionalism, and long-term career development among their workforce. As an industry leader, the company continuously seeks passionate professionals who thrive in dynamic, service-oriented roles. Jacobs Entertainment's diverse portfolio spans various entertainment segments, providing quality experiences for guests and a fulfilling workplace for employees.

The Gold ‘N Silver Inn, one of Reno's oldest and most beloved casual dining establishments, now has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Bartender to join their team. With over 60 years as a Reno landmark, this historic venue recently underwent a thoughtful restoration and renovation that modernized its neighborhood bar and dining areas. These enhancements effortlessly blend tradition with contemporary style, positioning the Gold ‘N Silver Inn as a downtown Reno highlight for the next 60 years and beyond.

This part-time/full-time position offers bartenders the chance to play a key role in maintaining the venue's reputation for excellent customer service and quality beverage offerings. The role is integral to fostering an engaging atmosphere where guests feel welcomed and valued. Candidates for this position will be expected to prepare and serve quality beverages according to established recipes and standards while ensuring the highest levels of cleanliness and safety behind the bar.

Successful bartenders at Gold ‘N Silver Inn will have the essential responsibility of guest interaction, building repeat business through attentive and personable service. They must demonstrate both hospitality and professionalism, ensuring responsible alcohol service including monitoring guest intoxication levels and intervening when necessary. The role also involves inventory management, supporting servers with beverage orders, and maintaining bar preparation levels to ensure smooth operations.

Jacobs Entertainment supports its employees with a comprehensive benefits program including monetary referral bonuses, tuition reimbursement, paid holidays, vacation accrual, and access to affordable medical, dental, and vision plans. Additional benefits include life insurance coverage, matching 401K retirement plans, employee meal discounts, and a variety of ongoing learning and development programs designed to support career growth. The company emphasizes promoting from within, encouraging bartenders to envision a future with upward mobility into supervisory or managerial roles.
