ABM (NYSE: ABM) is one of the world’s largest providers of facility services and solutions, widely recognized for fostering cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable environments. Established in 1909, ABM has grown into a global leader with over 100,000 team members serving more than 20,000 clients across 350 offices in the United States, United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, and other international locations. The company offers a comprehensive range of services including janitorial, engineering, parking management, electrical and lighting solutions, energy and electric vehicle charging infrastructure, HVAC and mechanical services, landscaping and turf care, and mission-critical solutions. ABM caters to a diverse portfolio of industries such as commercial office buildings, universities, airports, hospitals, data centers, manufacturing facilities, entertainment venues, and more.

ABM is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion. It actively supports individuals with disabilities by providing reasonable accommodations and promotes opportunities for veterans through its military-friendly employment initiatives. The company participates in the U.S. Department of Homeland Security E-Verify program to ensure lawful employment eligibility.

The role of Lead at ABM is a vital supervisory position responsible for overseeing facility operations to ensure compliance with policies and procedures. This role demands reliability, leadership, and hands-on involvement in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of assigned buildings and facilities. The Lead acts as the on-site supervisory presence during the absence of the Manager, coordinating daily operations, delegating tasks, and providing guidance and training to team members. This position also involves operating specialized equipment, handling cleaning chemicals safely, and supporting general janitorial duties to uphold the high standards ABM is known for.

The Lead's shift runs from Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 2pm to 5pm, and Saturday through Sunday from 6am to 2:30pm, offering a balance between midweek and weekend hours. The position offers hourly pay starting at $21.00, with possible variation based on experience, skills, geographic location, and alignment with market data. ABM provides a comprehensive benefits package, reaffirming its commitment to employee well-being and professional growth.

In this position, responsibilities include supervising cleaning operations, managing keys and access cards, reporting damages, ensuring quality control, training new hires, and coordinating communications between the field team and management. The Lead monitors supplies, equipment, and chemicals, completes and validates time records for employees and subcontractors, and helps create daily and weekly work schedules. This role requires effective communication skills, strong leadership abilities, and proactive problem-solving to maintain a safe and clean environment for both workers and customers.

ABM’s dedication to maintaining high operational standards and fostering a supportive work culture makes the Lead position an excellent career opportunity for those with prior supervisory experience in facility services. Candidates who are detail-oriented, motivated, and possess a customer-focused mindset will thrive in this dynamic environment and contribute to ABM’s mission to improve spaces and places that matter most.
