The role of Restaurant General Manager at AES is pivotal to both the guest experience and the operational success of each location. A Restaurant General Manager at AES is more than just a supervisor; they are a mentor, leader, and strategic manager responsible for cultivating a supportive and productive work environment. This individual ensures that every team member is coached, motivated, and equipped to provide outstanding service. The manager is deeply involved in all aspects of restaurant operations including hiring, training, scheduling, inventory controls, and financial management. They apply AES systems and processes to maintain high standards of safety, quality, and guest satisfaction, all while driving the restaurant to meet established goals in service, finance, and operations. To this end, the General Manager oversees critical operational metrics such as profit and loss, guest satisfaction, food and labor cost management, and compliance with food safety and employment regulations.

Job Requirements

  • Must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
  • Must be ServSafe certified or capable of obtaining certification
  • Ability to work in warm and cold temperatures
  • Ability to stand for 8-10 hours
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Ability to climb ladders for general maintenance
  • Ability to perform motions such as bending, squatting, twisting, pulling, reaching

Job Duties

  • Ensure your team provides outstanding service and satisfied guests
  • Hire, train & coach the team
  • Utilize AES systems to run a great restaurant, especially accurate projections and great schedules
  • Implement restaurant controls, especially cash & inventory
  • Set and meet restaurant goals for service, operations and financial results
