Job Description
Sustainable Talent is partnering with NVIDIA, a renowned global leader that has been at the forefront of transforming computer graphics, PC gaming, and accelerated computing technology for over 25 years. NVIDIA is widely recognized for its cutting-edge innovations that power visual computing experiences and drive advancements in AI and deep learning. Positioned as a technology powerhouse, NVIDIA serves a global customer base across various industries, including gaming, professional visualization, data centers, and automotive technologies.
As a leading tech startup turned industry giant headquartered in Santa Clara, California, NVIDIA boasts an engaging company culture that nurtures innovation, collaboration, and unmatched excellence in technology development. The company is committed to inclusivity and offers a vibrant workplace environment that encourages growth and creativity among its employees.
We are actively seeking a Global Events Manager to join NVIDIA on a full-time W-2 6-month contract basis, working onsite in Santa Clara, CA. This role is ideal for a talented and creative professional with a passion for orchestrating impactful events that strengthen business relationships and amplify the brand's presence. Offering highly competitive pay ranging from $75 to $90 per hour based on experience, education, and location along with full benefits, paid time off, and an exceptional company culture, this position provides a compelling opportunity to contribute to one of the most innovative companies in the tech industry.
The Global Events Manager will be responsible for leading a broad spectrum of event programs including physical and virtual tradeshows, customer and partner engagements, dynamic product launches, technical sessions, media and analyst briefings, as well as NVIDIA's own signature conferences. This pivotal position demands expertise in strategic event planning, excellent coordination skills, and the capacity to work effectively with cross-functional teams. The manager will define event objectives, develop targeted strategies, and establish metrics to measure success while managing all stages of event execution from initial planning through successful delivery.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with creative services teams to manage branding, collateral development, and demo logistics. You will supervise speaker engagements, ensuring seamless coordination and fulfillment of presentation requirements whether in-person or digital. Establishing and managing event budgets, negotiating fees, coordinating comprehensive logistics such as shipping, setup, tear-down, accommodations, staffing, and surveys to assess post-event satisfaction are key aspects of your responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will be a seasoned event marketing professional with 7 to 10 years of experience, preferably within the high-tech, PC, or gaming sectors. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask and lead teams under pressure are essential. Independence in following processes with minimal supervision and the flexibility to travel several times a year are critical. This role requires physical stamina for walking and standing extended periods and lifting heavy items.
NVIDIA's headquarters serves as the primary workspace location, so Bay Area residency with the ability to work onsite is required. This opportunity not only allows you to utilize your event management expertise but also to directly impact the marketing success of a global technology leader, working in a supportive and dynamic environment that values innovation and diversity.
