Job Description

Ultimo is a fast-growing international SaaS company recognized for delivering impactful and high-return transformation projects that deliver visible results within a few months. The company prides itself on a pragmatic and results-driven culture filled with experienced professionals who are passionate about driving change and innovation. At Ultimo, employees are provided with strong onboarding processes, continuous learning opportunities, and clear career progression pathways. They offer competitive compensation packages and benefits that evolve with each employee's contributions and impact on the business. Ultimo operates on a global scale, focusing on leveraging technology to help organizations optimize asset performance and enhance operational efficiency.

The role of Global Events Manager at Ultimo is strategically important and hands-on, tasked with spearheading the development, execution, and optimization of Ultimo's event program across key regions including the UK, Europe, and North America. Events at Ultimo are viewed as core growth drivers that help build brand awareness, create meaningful customer experiences, generate new pipeline, and strengthen relationships in global markets. The position involves managing a diverse portfolio of events, such as large-scale tradeshows, customer conferences, and executive gatherings, with the goal of producing measurable business results.

Reporting to the Head of Global Demand Generation, the Global Events Manager will have ownership over the global event strategy, ensuring alignment with pipeline generation objectives, brand-building initiatives, and regional growth plans. This includes crafting an annual event calendar that supports multiple trade shows and customer events with complex overlapping schedules. The role entails assessing event sponsorships, trade show participation, and executive networking opportunities to ensure that they align well with go-to-market strategies and sales objectives across different regions.

The manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Content, Design, Customer Marketing, and external vendors to create compelling event experiences that leave lasting impressions. Responsibilities include designing engaging booth environments that embody the Ultimo brand, coordinating logistics from registration to on-site management, and traveling internationally to oversee successful event delivery.

Customer engagement is a key focus, and the Global Events Manager will work alongside the Customer Marketing Manager to curate events that not only attract new prospects but also deepen retention and expansion opportunities with existing customers. They will also serve as a vital link between Sales and Marketing, driving pipeline generation efforts by aligning event objectives, targeting strategic accounts, and managing follow-up activities to convert leads into business.

Campaign integration is another area where this role excels, orchestrating event campaigns spanning email, social media, paid advertising, and digital channels. This involves leveraging marketing automation platforms and CRM systems to maximize event reach, track campaign performance, and optimize lead management workflows. The manager will ensure consistent messaging and high-quality presentation materials, promotional assets, and thought leadership content that resonate with target audiences.

This role demands exceptional project management skills to juggle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously while maintaining top-notch quality. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience managing vendors, agencies, sponsorships, and event production partners globally. A global mindset, high attention to detail, and the ability to thrive under pressure in fast-paced environments are critical. Importantly, the role requires willingness and availability for international travel to support and lead at key events.

Overall, the Global Events Manager position at Ultimo offers a unique opportunity for a seasoned marketing professional to make a tangible impact, grow with a scaling product, and help organizations worldwide maximize the value of their assets efficiently and rapidly.
