The role of Global Events Manager at Ultimo is a pivotal position responsible for driving the company's event strategy across multiple key regions including the UK, Europe, and North America. Events at Ultimo are crucial strategic growth drivers that enhance brand awareness, create meaningful engagement opportunities with customers, generate sales pipeline, and fortify relationships throughout global markets. As the Global Events Manager, you will lead the planning, execution, and continuous optimization of Ultimo’s comprehensive event program. This role demands a leader who can balance a strategic mindset with hands-on operational excellence, capable of managing multiple overlapping events such as tradeshows and customer conferences throughout the year.
In this role, you will report directly to the Head of Global Demand Generation, developing a global event strategy that aligns with broader pipeline generation, brand positioning, and regional growth objectives. Managing an extensive global event calendar, you will prioritize and evaluate sponsorships, trade shows, and executive engagements to maximize return on investment and market impact. Creativity in event activations is encouraged, combining tried-and-true methodologies with innovative techniques to keep the events program fresh and effective. Budget management, vendor negotiations, and spend oversight are also critical duties, ensuring financial discipline alongside event impact.
Execution of large-scale industry events is a core component of the position. You will design engaging booth and event environments that bring the Ultimo brand to life, enhancing attendee interaction and customer experience. Coordination is key, as you handle logistics from venues and staffing to AV and shipping, even traveling internationally to oversee event delivery and troubleshoot onsite. Collaboration with internal stakeholders including sales, product marketing, demand generation, customer marketing, and design is essential to align goals and ensure consistent branding and messaging.
The position also requires close partnership with Sales teams for pre-event planning, targeting, and post-event follow-up to drive meaningful pipeline conversion. Integrated marketing campaigns span email, social media, paid media, and content strategies, requiring collaboration with content and design teams for cohesive messaging and asset creation. Mastery of marketing automation and CRM systems supports effective campaign execution and lead management.
Performance measurement and continuous improvement are foundational to this role. You will analyze event outcomes, lead flow, and pipeline impact, using insights to refine and enhance future events. The fast-paced and international nature of this role demands flexibility, exceptional project management skills, and a high level of attention to detail. - Proven experience managing global events in North America and Europe

- Hands-on experience executing events from concept through post-event reporting and optimization
- Experience working closely with sales teams to drive event engagement and lead follow-up
- Exceptional project management skills with ability to manage multiple deadlines
