Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Two years of professional experience in international education or program coordination in an international context
  • International experience through study, employment, or residence abroad
  • Ability to strategize, prioritize, and multitask
  • Problem-solving skills in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Ability to manage diverse tasks independently and within a team
  • Adaptability and flexibility in changing work environments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and organizational capacity
  • Commitment to international education and cross-cultural understanding

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Two years of professional experience in international education or program coordination
  • International experience through study, employment, or residence abroad
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Demonstrated commitment to international education and cross-cultural understanding
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Preferred: Master's degree in a relevant field
  • Experience advising students
  • Experience with program design, coordination, or project management
  • Experience in higher education settings
  • Familiarity with externally funded program management
  • Experience in risk management in international contexts
  • Proficiency in a second language, preferably Mandarin, Arabic, or Hindi/Urdu
  • Group facilitation and public speaking experience
  • Event planning and coordination

Job Duties

  • Coordinate the development and execution of cross-unit global engagement programs
  • Design and implement revenue-generating programs including grants, contracts, and fee-based training
  • Support faculty global engagement initiatives
  • Enhance student international curriculum and experiential learning opportunities
  • Provide research and advisory support to DGE leadership
  • Manage ongoing programming within the Division of Global Engagement
  • Collaborate with diverse teams to promote global diversity and cross-cultural understanding
