The role of Host at Trillium is a pivotal position that serves as the cornerstone of the guest experience. Acting as the first and last point of contact, the Host is responsible for ensuring a warm, welcoming environment while managing seamless seating arrangements. Job Requirements

  • 1 plus year of experience in a full-service restaurant is preferred but willing to train the right candidate
  • friendly attitude with strong communication and multitasking skills
  • willingness to obtain TIPS certification if not already certified
  • ability to work efficiently and cooperatively with a dynamic service team
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • able to lift up to 25 pounds and assist with resetting tables and carrying supplies as needed

Job Qualifications

  • 1 plus year of experience in a full-service restaurant is preferred but willing to train the right candidate

Job Duties

  • Greet and seat guests with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • answer phones in a positive and upbeat manner, assisting callers and taking reservations
  • process room service orders when the room service attendant is unavailable
  • monitor dining room flow and communicate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
  • clear and reset tables as needed to support the service team
  • ensure guest satisfaction and provide support throughout all aspects of the dining experience
  • perform other job-related duties as assigned
