As a Night Porter at The Grove Hotel, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the guest experience during the overnight hours. This position is not just about handling luggage or driving shuttles; it is about being the warm and welcoming face that guests encounter after hours. The Night Porter is responsible for escorting guests to their rooms, assisting with their luggage, and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout their stay. Additionally, this role involves driving the airport shuttle between the hotel and the airport, running errands such as picking up laundry, and taking care of various guest service requests with professionalism and attentiveness.
The Night Porter must promote the services of the hotel, contributing to overall guest satisfaction, and adhere to all traffic laws, hotel policies, and safety regulations while on duty. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, strong customer service skills, and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Although previous experience is helpful, it is not mandatory; what matters most is the ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment and a genuine enjoyment of working with people.
