The Line Cook role at the Grove Hotel is crucial within our dynamic kitchen team. Job Requirements
- Previous experience as a line cook or prep cook in a fast-paced kitchen required
- Must be proficient in basic cooking techniques and knife handling
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Must be available to work early mornings and weekends
- Ability to multitask and stay detail-focused in a deadline-driven environment
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations required
- Culinary degree or certification is a plus but not required
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to work in hot kitchen environments and move between stations as needed
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Prepare and cook all menu items according to recipes and specifications
- Set up and stock stations with appropriate tools, ingredients, and supplies
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment throughout your shift
- Coordinate with other kitchen team members to ensure efficient ticket execution
- Monitor ingredient levels and replenish as needed throughout service
- Assist with inventory tracking, labeling, and stock rotation
- Provide input for daily specials or seasonal menu items
- Maintain a professional and positive attitude, especially during high-volume service
- Follow all company food safety, uniform, and attendance policies
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
