Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Authorization to work in the United States or ability to obtain it
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug tests and background check
- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
- Strong customer service skills
- Exceptional interpersonal, motivational, and communication skills
- Basic math skills
- Competency in computer applications used for department operations
- Ability to handle stressful situations
- Food safety certification or ability to obtain within 180 days
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Capacity to work standing, walking, climbing, kneeling and other physical demands
- Willingness to work in various indoor and outdoor conditions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 0-3 years of supervisory experience
- Proficiency in English
- Strong customer service skills
- Exceptional interpersonal, motivational, and communication abilities
- Basic math knowledge
- Competent with relevant computer applications
- Food safety certification or ability to obtain within 180 days
- Ability to handle stressful situations
Job Duties
- Help manage daily grocery department operations
- Supervise grocery team on storage and merchandising
- Promote consistent operational conditions
- Ensure fresh, appealing products and courteous service
- Execute marketing plans and monitor sales trends
- Train and develop associates
- Maintain compliance with safety and food handling standards
