The General Manager role at BURGER KING is a full-time position focused on driving the profitability, guest satisfaction, workforce management, and operational efficiency of a restaurant. Reporting to the District Manager, the General Manager leads an operational team that includes an Assistant Manager, Hourly Shift Coordinators, and Team Members. The role is critical in ensuring smooth daily restaurant operations, aligning with brand standards, and delivering exceptional customer service. The expected salary range is $50,000 to $60,000 per year, with additional bonus payments available, reflecting the importance of this leadership position.
As a General Manager, you will be at the helm of managing the restaurant P&L, implementing strategies to boost sales through proactive customer service, people development, and operational management. You will motivate and lead your team to exceed guest expectations by delivering accurate, friendly, and prompt service within a clean facility environment. The role requires strong problem-solving skills to address guest feedback, root cause analysis, and corrective action plans. Engagement with the local community to attract potential guests and execute localized marketing initiatives is also a key responsibility.
You will take ownership of the recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes to build a capable and effective restaurant team. Coaching and mentoring of team members are vital to enhancing skill levels and overall performance. Efficient labor management practices, including optimal scheduling and staff deployment, are essential to maintaining profitability. The General Manager also ensures adherence to operational and brand standards, stepping in to perform Assistant Manager or Shift Coordinator duties when needed.
