Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in food preparation or a related field preferred

Job Duties

  • Maintain proper food handling and safety procedures for all products used
  • Learn and be familiar with recipes and par levels
  • Determine preparation needs and write lists prioritizing time and critical needs
  • Know product handling guidelines including proper sanitation storage temperature and rotation of all food items
  • Properly produce all food items according to current recipes and specifications including use of all equipment
  • Maintain organization of prep area dry storage and walk-in areas
  • Perform opening closing and on shift side work and maintenance properly
  • Verify sign in and check quality of all deliveries
  • Keep kitchen clean and organized
  • Maintain all appliances clean
  • Responsible for safe defrosting method for food needed the following day
  • Maintain working area safe and clean sweep mop as needed
  • Maintain kitchen floors clean and dry ensuring timely wipe up and clean-up of any spills
