Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to pass fingerprinting and background check
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods
  • ability to lift weights between 25 to 50 pounds
  • willingness to comply with Bureau of Child Nutrition guidelines
  • ability to work weekdays with no evenings or weekends
  • ability to participate in annual training programs

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • frequent bending, kneeling, stooping, lifting 25 to 50 pounds
  • ability to use general cafeteria equipment including warmer, fryer, slicer, grill, and POS system
  • punctuality and regular attendance

  • ability to learn and apply policies and procedures

  • completion of applicable training programs

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve cold food items such as salads and sandwiches
  • assist cooks with kitchen tasks
  • serve customers with a positive attitude
  • maintain a sanitary environment according to health guidelines
  • assist with production records and documentation
  • operate cashier and handle money transactions
  • support the on-site manager as needed
