This role is for a General Utility Worker, a critical position within Aramark’s team responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in kitchen environments. The General Utility Worker ensures that dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, kitchen equipment, and utensils meet the highest standards of safety and hygiene. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a sanitation or cleaning role is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Capable of performing physical tasks including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, walking and standing for extended periods
- Willingness to wear uniforms and use personal protective equipment as required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members
Job Qualifications
- Demonstrates an understanding of basic sanitation procedures
- Able to follow basic safety procedures due to exposure to hazardous chemicals
- Available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Maintains a positive attitude and excellent customer service
- Comfortable performing light maintenance and custodial tasks
Job Duties
- Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining all dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, equipment, and kitchen utensils are cleaned and sanitized
- Maintains dishwashing station, three compartment sink and related areas cleaned
- Ensures equipment is clean and in working condition
- reports any issues to management
- Performs other light maintenance and custodial tasks
- Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers
- Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation
- Ensures security of company assets
