As a Food and Beverage General Utility Worker I at Aramark, you will play an essential role in supporting both the back of house and front of house operations. This position is critical to maintaining a safe, sanitary, and efficient work environment in food service settings. The hourly rate for this role ranges from $18.00 to $20.00, reflecting the competitive compensation package that Aramark offers to attract dedicated and motivated individuals. The role of a General Utility Worker involves a variety of duties that ensure the smooth operation of the food and beverage service. You will be responsible for monitoring food and equipment temperatures, performing thorough cleaning and sanitizing tasks such as pot and dish washing, and attending mandatory in-house training sessions to stay updated on health and safety standards. Maintaining impeccable personal hygiene, professional appearance, and uniform compliance is also a key expectation to uphold company regulations. Furthermore, you will help enforce Aramark's health and safety policies, assist chefs with food deliveries, check produce for quality compliance, and manage proper food storage in line with hygiene regulations and stock rotation systems.
This position demands a flexible approach to working hours and duties, as well as physical stamina to handle activities involving lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, extended standing, or walking. Wearing uniforms and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required to ensure safety and professionalism.
