The General Utility Worker role at Aramark is an entry-level position that plays a crucial role in maintaining clean and sanitary environments across Aramark client locations. Working as part of a team known as service stars, employees in this role contribute to exceptional guest experiences by ensuring that dishes, equipment, and work environments meet rigorous cleanliness and safety standards. The position offers an hourly wage ranging from $16.00 to $20.00, reflecting the company's commitment to fair and competitive compensation.

This role involves hands-on responsibilities such as cleaning and sanitizing dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, kitchen utensils, and equipment. Employees are also responsible for maintaining the dishwashing station and related areas, ensuring that all equipment is in working order, and reporting any maintenance concerns to management. Beyond cleaning tasks, General Utility Workers perform light maintenance and custodial duties, always maintaining a positive attitude and excellent customer service toward guests, clients, co-workers, and other stakeholders.
