Guest Services, Inc. is a leading hospitality management company and National Park Service concessionaire in the United States, founded in 1917. With over a century of experience, Guest Services has built a strong reputation for delivering top-tier service across a diverse array of venues and client sites. These include luxury communities, upscale hotels and resorts, government and business dining facilities, full-service restaurants, state and national parks, outdoor recreation areas, boathouses, marinas, museums, conference centers, senior living communities, healthcare systems, school and university dining facilities, and specialty retail stores. The company is dedicated to providing best-in-class service, leveraging its deep industry expertise to enhance guest experiences and operational efficiency.

In line with its values, Guest Services, Inc. emphasizes diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), committing to an inclusive culture where employees can bring their whole selves to work. This ethos supports the company's goal to deliver exceptional service to a wide-ranging, diverse customer base. The organization is an equal opportunity employer, ensuring fair consideration for all qualified applicants irrespective of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status.

The available role is that of a General Utility worker, a critical position responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and general upkeep within the facility. This hourly position pays $14.00 and involves working in various environments including kitchens, dining, and restroom areas. The General Utility ensures that all park restrooms are cleaned to a safe standard and that dishes, glasses, utensils, pots, and pans are washed using correct sanitation procedures. The role also entails trash management, including emptying trash receptacles and maintaining cleanliness across tables, floors, and grounds.

Additional duties involve replenishing stock supplies such as paper goods, condiments, utensils, and cleaning per mandated health compliance standards. The General Utility aids in loading and unloading inventory from trucks and organizes the storeroom for efficient operations. Maintaining awareness of safety issues and reporting them promptly to management is a vital aspect of this role.

The position requires a strong commitment to sanitation and customer service, as well as physical stamina. Duties involve frequent walking, bending, lifting, reaching above shoulder height, and working in various temperature conditions including hot, damp, and freezer environments. Employees must be capable of lifting weights up to 50 pounds occasionally and standing for entire work shifts. The role demands the ability to communicate effectively in English with customers and coworkers within a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Equipment used includes standard commercial automatic dishwashing machines and a variety of cleaning supplies such as detergents, chemicals, mops, brooms, scourers, and hand towels. Compliance with health and safety guidelines is paramount to maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment.

This position is ideal for individuals seeking a hands-on role in a dynamic hospitality setting with opportunities to contribute to an organization that values diversity, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.
