As a porter at the JW Marriott Marquis Houston, you will be integral in creating memorable and unique guest experiences. Your responsibilities extend beyond moving items; you will collaborate seamlessly with various departments such as housekeeping, engineering, banquets, restaurants, and front desk to ensure both guests and employees have the necessary support and resources exactly where and when they need them. Whether it’s delivering items directly to guest rooms or providing assistance to other teams, your role is essential to the smooth operation and overall success of the hotel.

This job demands a high level of physical activity, including standing, sitting, walking, and navigating confined spaces, elevated areas, stairs, and service ramps. You will routinely move, lift, carry, push, and set objects weighing up to 55 pounds, reaching, kneeling, turning, stretching, and bending as part of day-to-day tasks.
