The current job opening at Schreiber Foods Inc. in Stephenville offers full-time positions in general production within the manufacturing and plant production category. These are rotating 12-hour shifts following a 2-on, 2-off, 3-on, 2-off, 2-on, 3-off schedule, with a starting pay of $17.82 per hour plus a $2 per hour incentive for night shifts worked between 7 pm and 7 am. This role is geared towards individuals who are eager to contribute to the efficient operation of the production processes, ensuring adherence to food safety protocols and quality standards. A typical workday involves performing various critical process checks, following food safety and quality reaction plans, and supporting customer requirements to maintain production integrity.

The position requires manual labor tasks, including inspection, rework, sorting, palletizing, and casing, supported by teamwork and compliance with plant policies. Workers are encouraged to engage actively with Process Excellence tools to help improve plant performance and participate in projects directed by department team leaders. A key expectation is a satisfactory attendance record with flexibility to work weekends, overtime, and different shifts as needed.

Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Perform all process CP, CCP, QP, and CQP checks required for the position
  • Follow reaction plans for food safety, food quality, and customer requirement deviations
  • Identify and understand customer requirements and assist in assuring proper production operation
  • Perform manual labor tasks such as inspection, rework, and sort operations as needed
  • Utilize Process Excellence tools to improve plant performance and complete specific projects as directed
  • Comply with plant policies and procedures and maintain teamwork
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
