The Production Operator role at Flowers Foods is integral to the company's manufacturing process, contributing to all phases of production. The position involves the operation of automated production equipment, diagnosing machinery failures, assisting with preventative maintenance, and performing sanitation tasks on equipment. Additionally, operators are expected to be capable decision-makers with the ability to oversee the preflight and operation of equipment efficiently. The Production Operator will undertake varied assignments including roles such as Scaler/Divider Operator, Wrapping Operator, Palletizer, Roll Line Operator, Board Monitor, and Retard Box Monitor. Each assignment comes with specific responsibilities such as managing production schedules, operating mixers and dough pumps, scaling ingredients, running slicing and bagging machines, performing quality inspections, and ensuring clean and organized work areas. Preventative maintenance and sanitation work are also significant components of the position.   • Maintains clean and organized work areas
  • Operates wrapping, slicing, and bagging equipment and verifies product quantities
  • Manages palletizing operations and monitors production programs
