Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Willing and able to understand and follow oral and written instructions
- Capable of continuous repetitive hand and arm movements
- Able to stand for up to 12-hour shifts on concrete or platforms
- Comfortable working around animal blood and carcass parts
- Must be able to work with knives if trained
- Able to work in cold (20-40 degrees) and warm (over 100 degrees) environments
- Can work in wet and humid conditions
- Willing to wear hard hats, hearing and eye protection, steel-toed safety shoes
- Able to work in noisy environments using personal protective equipment
- Comfortable working with sanitation and cleaning chemicals
- Able to tolerate strong smells and odors
- Able to climb and move on ladders, steps, stairways, walkways and platforms
- Able to bend, stoop and twist repetitively throughout a shift
- Able to walk long distances
- Capable of physically demanding work including lifting up to 60 lbs with or without mechanical assistance
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
- Capability to perform continuous and repetitive movements involving hands and arms
- Ability to stand on concrete or platforms for long shifts
- Experience working safely with knives and machinery preferred
- Ability to work in various temperature environments including cold and warm areas
- Competence in using personal protective equipment
- Physical ability to perform repetitive bending, stooping, twisting, climbing, and lifting
Job Duties
- Handle materials using hand tools, knives, machinery, and equipment
- Perform physically demanding work requiring strength, stamina, and good hand-eye coordination
- Follow oral and written instructions accurately
- Work scheduled hours including mandatory overtime
- Operate safely in cold, warm, wet, and noisy environments using personal protective equipment
- Climb and move on ladders, steps, stairways, walkways, and platforms
- Bend, stoop, twist repetitively and lift heavy objects as required
