The Production Team Member role based in the kitchen area is integral to Tyson Foods’ operations, specifically focusing on meat processing tasks such as de-boxing frozen meat, grinding, blending and formulating meat products, stuffing products, operating Wolfking machinery, hanging products repeatedly above shoulder level, fermentation and tree transfer processes, casing products, and performing other duties as assigned by supervisors or lead personnel. This general labor position demands a physical candidate who can tolerate cold environments with temperatures of 35 degrees or below throughout the entire shift. The job requires the capacity to push, pull, and lift weights up to 60 pounds repeatedly, maintain standing and walking on concrete flooring for extended periods, and adhere strictly to verbal and written instructions. The candidate must be flexible with work shifts, availability for weekends, and potential overtime, ensuring full participation in all company-required training programs, including safety and food safety procedures such as GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and SQF (Safe Quality Food) standards. Job Requirements
- Must be willing and able to de-box frozen meat grinding meat blending and formulating stuffing product Wolfking operation hanging product repeatedly above shoulder level fermentation tree transfer and casing product
- must be willing and able to complete all required training for the job
- must be willing and able to perform any other work as assigned by supervisor or lead person
- must be willing and able to comply with all general safety food safety GMP and SQF requirements
- must willing and able to perform all positions of rotation if applicable
- must be willing and able to work overtime and or weekends as needed and all shifts
- must be willing and able to push pull lift with arms below waist at shoulder above shoulder level up to 60 pounds repeatedly
- must be willing and able to push manipulate up to 60 pounds repeatedly
- must be willing and able to tolerate temperatures of 35 degrees or below for entire shift be willing and able to walk and stand on concrete floor for the shift duration
- must be willing and able to follow both verbal and written instructions
- must be able to provide proof of authorization to work legally in the United States
- must pass a urinalysis screening as part of the post-offer health assessment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a production or meat processing environment preferred
- ability to tolerate cold working conditions
- strong physical stamina for lifting and standing
- capability to follow verbal and written instructions
- completion of all required training
- compliance with safety and food safety standards
- availability to work all shifts including weekends and overtime
