Job Description

Our client is a distinguished leader in the premium hospitality sector, renowned for developing and operating a portfolio of award-winning hotels, rooftop bars, and restaurants located in some of the most desirable cities in the United States. This company is deeply committed to embodying the true spirit of hospitality, recognizing that success in this business is about how one makes people feel. Their approach fosters an environment where employees can thrive and grow, reflecting their core belief in nurturing talent and creating memorable guest experiences. Situated onsite in Saratoga, Wyoming, this unique opportunity is embedded within a luxury ranch resort operating multiple facets of hospitality and agritourism, including agriculture, a greenhouse, a goat dairy and creamery, an artisan bakery, a restaurant, a wine program, retail outlets, and immersive agritourism guest experiences. Relocation assistance is offered, underscoring the company’s desire to attract top-tier leadership willing to embrace a lifestyle integrated with the natural rhythms of rural Wyoming.

The role of General Manager at this world-class Wyoming ranch resort is a multifaceted leadership position that requires both strategic vision and operational excellence. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive oversight across the resort’s diverse restaurant and agriculture-based operations, demonstrating expertise in managing complex, multi-department environments. As the operational leader, you will hold full accountability for financial performance through effective profit and loss management, budgeting, forecasting, labor planning, inventory controls, and capital investment decision-making. This position demands a proactive approach to driving profitability while maintaining the highest standards of operational quality and guest satisfaction, aligning with the prestigious Relais & Châteaux brand standards.

Growth, innovation, and sustainability are central pillars for this role. The General Manager will lead initiatives that enhance the ranch’s position as a national leader in luxury seed-to-table hospitality and agritourism. This vision is supported by a commitment to sustainability practices that honor the land and craftsmanship involved in every aspect of the guest experience. Leading and inspiring high-performing teams across multiple departments—from agriculture and culinary arts to retail and hospitality—is essential. The culture fostered here is one of collaboration, accountability, and a genuine passion for the guest’s journey and the natural environment.

This role also demands strong relationship-building abilities, as the General Manager serves as the primary ambassador of the resort’s restaurants and broader hospitality brand. Building meaningful connections with guests, ranch ownership, community partners, local producers, and the luxury hospitality community is critical. Exceptional communication skills and an authentic presence are necessary to maintain and elevate the property’s high-touch service standards while ensuring an unparalleled guest experience. The ideal candidate not only leads operations but lives the ethos of the ranch—deeply invested in agriculture, sustainability, craftsmanship, and luxury hospitality. This position offers a unique blend of lifestyle and career advancement within an unmatched rural resort setting, backed by comprehensive benefits and a supportive corporate culture.
