This involves crafting detailed business plans that integrate Marriott’s global strategic objectives with actionable plans that directly influence property results. This leader is expected to take calculated risks and encourage innovation to stay ahead in a competitive market.

Sales and marketing leadership is critical, working closely with internal teams to develop revenue-generating strategies, identify new business leads, and align sales efforts with brand goals. Talent management also falls under this role, focusing on creating a high-performance executive committee, supporting employee development, succession planning, and fostering an environment of open communication and engagement.

Labor relations are managed with fairness and respect, ensuring the right marketplace compensation and celebrating employee successes.

Revenue management responsibilities include collaborating with relevant teams to establish pricing strategies, demand forecasting, and maximizing yield across different customer segments, all aligned with the property’s positioning in the local market.

Additionally, the General Manager ensures compliance with Marriott’s brand standards, legal, safety, and operational policies through regular audits and inspections, guaranteeing the property is well-maintained, safe, and exceeding guest expectations.
