Job Requirements

  • At least 1 year of previous management experience
  • Restaurant management experience preferred
  • Self-directed and driven leader who demonstrates respect, honesty, and integrity

  • Must have or obtain a ServSafe Certification
  • Must have sufficient experience and knowledge of Profit and Loss statements

  • Demonstrate sound decision making and problem-solving skills

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant location including ordering, hiring, training, and customer service management
  • Lead the restaurant team with a customer focus, conduct regular meetings, maintain a positive environment
  • Ensure the restaurant operates profitably meeting set margins for costs of goods sold
  • Be an ambassador for our service, our menu, our story, and our culture
  • Maintain proper hygiene and uphold an appearance that projects a positive company image at all times
  • Describe our food with passion and educate guests on our menu, its ingredients and allergy/dietary alerts for both restaurant and catering orders
  • Embody our cafe management work style by performing store positions when not focused on administrative responsibilities
  • Develop hourly employees, shift leaders, and AGMs for growth by leading an environment that fosters motivation, training and evaluations
  • Schedule hourly employees based on weekly forecasted sales and train AGMs to do the same
  • Accurately document all employee related paperwork
  • Prioritize tasks, set goals and properly schedule time ensuring to balance admin leadership with hands-on shift involvement
  • Supervise and mentor crew members on each shift looking for training moments
  • Manage the quality of the store by meeting Grecian Gyro standards for food procedure, service and cleanliness
  • Effectively manage operational and admin duties understanding how their accurate and timely completion creates store success
  • Monitor cash receipts, controls and daily deposits for financial accuracy
  • Proactively manage building upkeep, general maintenance, equipment maintenance and maintenance tickets
  • Maintain a positive, clean, safe atmosphere and environment for both guests and coworkers in compliance with Health Department regulations
  • Lead the team to comply with all company policies and procedures as well as local, state and federal regulations
  • Demonstrate a professional attitude and respect for coworkers, establishment, and the Grecian Gyro brand
