The General Manager role at Tender Greens is a pivotal leadership position responsible for the overall financial performance and daily operations of the restaurant. The General Manager ensures that all brand standards and operating procedures are strictly followed, delivering an exceptional guest experience that consistently exceeds expectations. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's or associate's degree in hospitality, restaurant management, culinary arts, or equivalent education and work experience
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a general manager in a fast-paced, full-service restaurant
  • Proven ability to hire, train, and develop team members
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Passion for the restaurant industry
  • Ability to analyze financial data and manage budgets
  • Proficient in MS Office and Google Docs
  • Current Food Safety Manager certification
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including nights and weekends
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods
  • Ability to work in hot kitchen environments
  • Excellent sight, speech, and hearing abilities
  • Physical capability to perform repetitive motions such as bending, kneeling, stooping, twisting, and reaching

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Manage daily operations ensuring brand standard operating procedures are upheld
  • Lead and motivate team members and managers fostering a positive work environment
  • Oversee team member relations including coaching, mentoring, and disciplinary actions
  • Maintain staffing levels through recruitment, hiring, and scheduling
  • Manage financial performance including sales, expenses, payroll, and profit and loss analysis
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Conduct regular team meetings and training sessions to communicate updates and improve performance
  • Oversee catering operations and Point of Sale system management
  • Address and resolve guest complaints to ensure satisfaction
