Job Qualifications
- 2-year degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with 8 years experience in operations, sales, marketing, finance, or related area
- OR 4-year bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with 6 years experience in management operations, sales, marketing, finance, or related professional area
- General manager experience in limited or full-service property preferred
- Demonstrated progressive career growth and exceptional performance in the property industry
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and late nights
Job Duties
- Develop and execute strategic business plans to maximize guest satisfaction, profitability, and market share
- Lead and hold the property leadership team accountable for achieving business objectives
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to generate revenue and pursue new business opportunities
- Manage talent development, coach executive committee, and create succession plans
- Analyze business information to proactively respond to market changes and improve property performance
- Foster positive employee relations and ensure fair treatment and engagement
- Maintain owner relations through proactive communication and detailed performance reporting
- Engage with guests and local community to enhance brand image and customer satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, legal regulations, safety standards, and brand requirements
