Job Qualifications

  • 2-year degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with 8 years experience in operations, sales, marketing, finance, or related area
  • OR 4-year bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with 6 years experience in management operations, sales, marketing, finance, or related professional area
  • General manager experience in limited or full-service property preferred
  • Demonstrated progressive career growth and exceptional performance in the property industry
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and late nights

Job Duties

  • Develop and execute strategic business plans to maximize guest satisfaction, profitability, and market share
  • Lead and hold the property leadership team accountable for achieving business objectives
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to generate revenue and pursue new business opportunities
  • Manage talent development, coach executive committee, and create succession plans
  • Analyze business information to proactively respond to market changes and improve property performance
  • Foster positive employee relations and ensure fair treatment and engagement
  • Maintain owner relations through proactive communication and detailed performance reporting
  • Engage with guests and local community to enhance brand image and customer satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, legal regulations, safety standards, and brand requirements
