The Ritz-Carlton at The Woodlands, Texas, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Management professional to join its Property Leadership team. This full-time role, based at the luxury condominium property located on Lake Woodlands Drive and Lake Ribbons Road, offers an attractive salary range of $174,000 to $238,350 per year, along with bonus eligibility and stock package benefits. Relocation assistance is also available for the right candidate.

In this pivotal position, the successful candidate will be entrusted with managing the luxury condominium facilities and all departments operating within the building. The role demands a focused approach to protecting and enhancing the investment value through superior care and efficient management of physical plant operations. Responsibilities include implementing high standards for life-safety, loss-prevention, unit owner identity, and privacy protection. The Manager will work closely with the Association shared services Directors across departments such as Loss Prevention, Human Resources, Accounting, and Housekeeping, fostering collaborative efforts to deliver exceptional service and operational results.

Key to this role is the development and execution of property-wide strategies aligned with the brand's business goals. The Manager will analyze owner engagement surveys, guest satisfaction results, and financial performance data to identify opportunities for improvement and drive operational excellence. Through effective leadership, the Manager will ensure compliance with policies, manage budget constraints, and produce timely reporting to the Board of Directors. Building strong relationships with owners, board members, employees, and the local community is essential to foster loyalty and a thriving residential environment.

The candidate will lead and inspire operations teams, emphasizing fairness, recognition, and commitment to excellence. Implementing ongoing training programs and promoting a service culture aligned with The Ritz-Carlton's Gold Standards will be a key responsibility. The Manager will also handle human resource activities, including performance reviews, employee communication, and adherence to disciplinary procedures, maintaining a motivated and high-performing team.

Job Requirements

  • Education level: 2-year or 4-year degree in relevant field
  • Relevant experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, sales, marketing, or management operations
  • Management license for Condominiums if applicable
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage budgets and financial reporting
  • Commitment to high standards of safety and service
  • Willingness to engage proactively with owners and board
  • Ability to relocate if necessary
  • Eligible for full-time management position in The Woodlands, Texas

Job Qualifications

  • 2-year degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Property Management, or related major with 6 years relevant experience
  • Management license for Condominiums as applicable
  • OR 4-year bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Property Management, or related major with 4 years relevant experience
  • 8+ years experience in senior management in a Four Star/Four Diamond hotel preferred
  • Progressive property industry experience showing career growth and exceptional performance
  • Previous Association management experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Develop operational strategy aligned with brand's business strategy
  • Review owner engagement and guest satisfaction data to identify improvement areas
  • Manage luxury condominium facilities and physical plant
  • Serve as liaison to Association shared services Directors
  • Implement high standards for life safety and loss prevention
  • Maintain complete inventory of unit owners' information and related property data
  • Lead and develop operations teams, ensuring fair treatment and recognition
  • Conduct public space walk-throughs and assess maintenance
  • Communicate departmental goals for desired results
  • Prepare and operate within residence budget
  • Provide timely financial reporting to Board of Directors
  • Attend owners and Board meetings delivering reports
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with owners and Board
  • Implement training programs reinforcing quality service
  • Handle owner complaints following pacification procedures
  • Facilitate creative solutions for improving guest satisfaction
  • Conduct performance reviews and hold staff accountable
  • Participate in community and build relationships with local officials
