This 10-story landmark stands as a premier destination for visitors to California's vibrant state capital, situated less than a mile from key attractions such as the State Capitol and the Golden 1 Center. Concord Hospitality, a renowned hospitality operator famous for its commitment to quality and community, is seeking a seasoned and dynamic General Manager to lead the team at The Exchange. This role is pivotal in maintaining and elevating the hotel's reputation for exceptional service and operational excellence. The General Manager position is full-time, offering a competitive salary ranging from $127,884 to $159,885 annually, reflecting the importance of this leadership role within the company.

As the General Manager, you will be entrusted with the critical responsibility of overseeing all facets of hotel operations to ensure seamless guest experiences while driving financial success. This includes building and nurturing a high-performing management team that embodies Concord Hospitality’s core values. Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering a workplace culture that champions integrity, transparency, respect, and professionalism. You will act as the central liaison between the hotel brand, property owners, and Concord Hospitality, ensuring all parties' objectives are harmoniously aligned.

The General Manager will also manage the hotel’s budget, supplies, and deadlines, strategically driving financial targets and operational goals. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in hotel management preferably in a leadership role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and financial reporting
  • Commitment to upholding company values and ethics

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a General Manager or in select service hotel operations
  • Strong sales and networking skills with a track record of driving financial results
  • Excellent leadership abilities including hiring mentoring and team motivation
  • Organized detail-oriented and results-driven
  • Prior GM experience preferred
