The role of Hotel General Manager at AvantStay is pivotal in sustaining the company’s high standards and expanding its presence within the hospitality market. Job Requirements
- 5+ years experience in hotel management including food and beverage, front desk, and vendor relations
- bachelor's degree in business, hospitality, or related field
- ability to work with urgency and under high pressure situations
- 'guest first' attitude towards hospitality
- broad range of technology experience including property management systems
- excellent communication skills
- capable of quickly learning new software systems
- willing to work a flexible schedule including holidays, weekends, and evenings
- local hospitality and boutique service relationships preferred
- experience in real estate, hospitality, or tech is a plus
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, hospitality, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in hotel management including food and beverage, front desk, and vendor relations

Job Duties
- Building out full concierge, value-added services, activations, and partnerships functions in this market
- developing local partnerships that will be an asset to hospitality operations
- working closely with contractor relationships including food and beverage
- directly supervising and managing market staff including hiring, training, coaching, evaluating performance, and delegating tasks
- serving as the main point of contact to establish and cultivate relationships with AvantStay property owners
- reviewing owner distribution statements and keeping apprised of property status
- supervising progress and resolution of guest and homeowner issues and escalations within designated time frames
- partnering with HOA representatives to ensure alignment on property standards, community guidelines, and guest experiences
- meeting and maintaining AvantStay standards and metrics related to owner satisfaction
- supervising and coordinating housekeeping and routine vacation rental maintenance tasks such as changing linens, moving furniture, changing light bulbs, troubleshooting cable and WiFi issues
- collaborating with maintenance, groundskeeping, and housekeeping operations
- participating in rotating on-call after-hours support for the market
