Job Description
Marriott International is a renowned global hospitality company known for its diverse portfolio of hotels and resorts. Among its prestigious brands is the Autograph Collection, a distinctive group of four and five-star independent hotels that offer unique and memorable experiences to travelers. The Clancy Autograph Collection, located in the heart of San Francisco, California, represents the brand's commitment to originality, quality, and bold character. This property caters to The Individualist — travelers who seek more than just accommodation; they are looking to enrich their personal narratives through distinctive stays that reflect their adventurous spirit and personal style.
At The Clancy Autograph Collection, the role offered is a full-time managerial position, specifically in Property Leadership, serving as the primary strategic business leader responsible for the overall operation of the property. This position comes with a competitive annual salary range of $269,000 to $356,000, is bonus-eligible, and includes a stock package, making it a highly rewarding career opportunity for seasoned professionals in hospitality management.
The manager's scope of responsibility includes delivering exceptional guest and employee satisfaction, overseeing human resources, driving financial performance, guiding sales and revenue generation efforts, and ensuring a strong return on investment for Marriott International and property owners. The leader ensures the implementation of service strategies aimed at exceeding guest expectations while simultaneously increasing profitability and market share.
This leadership role involves holding the property management team accountable for executing strategies and supporting their professional development. It requires proactive engagement in sales efforts, ensuring alignment of the property’s business goals with Marriott’s brand positioning, and maintaining strong communication channels with property ownership to foster loyalty and encourage investment confidence.
Moreover, the position emphasizes community engagement, requiring the leader to build and sustain robust relationships with local officials, businesses, and customers. The role demands a thorough understanding and execution of revenue management and pricing strategies, employee and labor relations, business data analysis, and brand policy compliance.
Candidates for this role should have a proven track record in hotel management, particularly with experience in limited or full-service properties, and demonstrate the ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. The role is not remote and requires on-site presence at The Clancy Autograph Collection in San Francisco.
Joining the Autograph Collection means being part of a culture that values the unique backgrounds and talents of its associates, fostering an inclusive and diverse work environment. Marriott International is committed to equal employment opportunity and embraces non-discrimination on any protected basis. This environment not only supports career growth but also promotes the best version of every employee. If you are a dynamic leader who thrives on strategic challenges and aims to make a significant impact in a vibrant hospitality setting, this role presents a compelling opportunity to take your career to new heights and contribute to a brand that values individuality and excellence.
