As a global provider of travel retail and foodservice concessions, Paradies Lagardere is committed to who go beyond traditional restaurant operations by specializing in creating memorable hospitality experiences for travelers. The company prides itself on combining innovative restaurant designs, top-quality culinary offerings, and live entertainment to captivate guests and elevate the in-travel dining experience. Paradies Lagardere fosters a family culture built on core values abbreviated as TRIFIC—Trust, Respect, Integrity, First-Class, Innovation, and Commitment—which guides all team members in their daily work and interactions with customers and colleagues.
The General Manager position within the Dining Division at Paradies Lagardere is a pivotal leadership role that requires a strategic and hands-on approach to managing high-quality restaurant operations. Reporting directly to the Flagship Manager or Regional Vice President, the General Manager is responsible for the overall success of their assigned restaurant location, including profitability, guest satisfaction, and associate engagement. This role is exempt and full-time, demanding a passionate partner who invests fully in the restaurant's performance and team development. The General Manager creates and delivers first-class experiences for guests through motivated teams, efficient restaurant management, and dedication to upholding brand and company standards.
As a General Manager at Paradies Lagardere, you serve not just as a manager but as a role model and teacher, inspiring and mentoring your Management Team and hourly employees to be their best. You uphold the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, food quality, and guest service, maintaining an environment that fosters respect and teamwork free from harassment. Your leadership extends to driving profitable growth by managing labor, food and beverage costs, and operational efficiency, while also innovating and adapting quickly in a fast-paced, changing environment. Effective communication and employee engagement are central to success, with an emphasis on open dialogue and community-building within the restaurant team.
In addition to your operational responsibilities, you steward compliance with health, safety, and company policies and set clear performance goals for your team. You actively participate in recruiting and staff development, ensuring all team members are trained and aligned with Paradies Lagardere’s standards. The role requires proficiency in relevant software systems for inventory, purchasing, scheduling, and reporting, alongside strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage stress and deadlines effectively.
Overall, this position offers a rewarding opportunity for experienced restaurant leaders to join a vibrant and growing company, where passion for guest experience and operational excellence is celebrated. Paradies Lagardere is an Equal Opportunity Employer and supports diverse and inclusive hiring practices. Joining the company means becoming part of a dedicated team committed to exceeding expectations and fostering a workplace that is both professionally fulfilling and supportive.
