The General Manager role at Aramark represents a significant leadership opportunity to oversee multiple contracted services for a client, typically handling revenues ranging from 2 to 15 million dollars or more. This pivotal position demands a seasoned operations manager who will direct and lead teams to deliver exceptional service, meet stringent client expectations, and achieve financial and operational goals. The range of services overseen can be diverse, including but not limited to food service, facility support, custodial, retail, lodging, and transportation. Our General Managers are expected to have a comprehensive understanding of their client’s operational landscape, build and nurture positive relationships, and demonstrate keen financial acumen while maintaining a strong and unwavering focus on safety standards.
As a General Manager, you will be at the helm of managing a team that drives operational excellence, ensuring service quality aligns with contractual agreements and client expectations. Compensation for the General Manager position ranges between $110,000 and $120,000 annually, reflecting the importance and responsibility this role commands. Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- experience managing contract services or in hospitality environment
- proven leadership skills
- ability to focus on client and customer service
- strong interpersonal communication skills
- capability to interpret and implement contractual obligations
- experience managing budgets and financial analysis
- physical ability to perform lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, extended walking and standing
- willingness to use uniforms and personal protective equipment as required
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred in food service, hospitality, facilities, or business management
