The property features 250 all-suite guest rooms, catering to both business and leisure travelers with spacious accommodations. It boasts approximately 7,000 to 10,000 square feet of versatile meeting and event space distributed across 12 well-equipped meeting rooms, making it an ideal venue for conferences, weddings, and other gatherings. Guests also enjoy on-site dining options including a restaurant and lounge, a fitness center, and complimentary airport shuttle services. This hotel balances luxury and convenience, reflecting Marriott's commitment to excellent guest experiences and operational excellence.
Sheraton Suites Philadelphia Airport is managed under the leadership of Remington Hospitality, a renowned U.S.-based third-party hotel management company established in 1968. Remington Hospitality operates over 100 hotels across 30 states and the Caribbean and Latin America (CALA) region, managing a diverse portfolio of 26 distinguished brands. Known for its disciplined financial management, unwavering brand compliance, and operational accountability, Remington fosters a collaborative, performance-driven culture passionate about long-term success and professional growth.
The role of General Manager at Sheraton Suites Philadelphia Airport is a pivotal leadership position responsible for overseeing all facets of hotel operations in this 250-suite, full-service property. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations, the General Manager leads members of the Executive Committee and department heads across rooms division, sales, food and beverage, engineering, and other operational units. This position demands accountability for the hotel’s financial health, driving revenue growth and profitability while maintaining impeccable standards in guest satisfaction and Marriott brand compliance.
The General Manager champions the execution of the property’s Five Key Drivers of success: associate engagement, guest and resident experience, revenue growth and commercial performance, cost discipline and operational efficiency, and asset value with long-term sustainability. This leadership role involves cultivating a culture of exceptional guest service, anticipating and responding to guest needs, resolving complaints promptly, and coordinating innovative programs to elevate service quality.
Critical to this role is the ability to develop and empower leaders, ensuring they exceed performance expectations to meet evolving business demands. The General Manager works strategically to align all departments toward achieving revenue and profitability goals utilizing forecasting, P&L management, and RevPAR metrics. Ensuring compliance with brand standards and company policies across all operational areas sustains the Sheraton’s strong market position.
With a salary range of $150,000 to $170,000 annually, complemented by quarterly bonus incentives up to 50% of quarterly earned wages, this full-time managerial role offers competitive compensation commensurate with experience. The position requires on-site presence and up to 15% travel related to brand meetings, leadership development, community engagement, and market activities. Candidates should embrace a proactive leadership style and demonstrate outstanding communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, suitable for a 24/7 hospitality environment. Sheraton Suites Philadelphia Airport offers a vibrant work culture focused on excellence, innovation, and career advancement, making this opportunity ideal for seasoned hospitality executives committed to delivering outstanding guest experiences and operational success.
