As part of a worldwide network comprising more than 400 communities, Sheraton is committed to creating a genuine sense of belonging, connecting individuals through thoughtful service and memorable experiences. The brand's mission, "The World's Gathering Place," reflects its dedication to fostering community and providing exemplary guest services worldwide. Sheraton's rich heritage and dedication to quality service make it an ideal workplace for individuals who are passionate about hospitality and eager to contribute to a globally respected organization.

The role of General Manager at this Sheraton property is a critical leadership position responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations. This includes managing guest and employee satisfaction, human resources, financial performance, sales, and revenue generation, while delivering a strong return on investment for Marriott International and property ownership. The General Manager functions as the primary strategic business leader, ensuring that the property aligns with Marriott’s global strategic plan and meets or exceeds guest expectations. This influential role involves guiding the entire leadership team toward successful strategy execution and fostering their professional development.

The successful candidate will engage closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop revenue-generating strategies and actively pursue new business opportunities, ensuring market competitiveness and brand alignment. They will also have a hands-on approach in creating a high-performance executive committee, developing strong talent management practices, and nurturing employee growth through coaching, feedback, and succession planning. Financial acumen is vital as the General Manager monitors business information and market trends to maintain budgetary discipline while maximizing profitability and market share.

In addition to operational leadership, the General Manager is responsible for maintaining strong relationships with property owners by providing transparent communication and detailed business performance analysis. They will be a visible presence in the local community, cultivating ties with local officials, businesses, and customers to enhance the hotel's reputation and foster strategic alliances. The role demands adherence to Marriott’s brand policies, legal compliance, safety, and quality standards through rigorous audits and regular inspections.

This role requires a dynamic, adaptable leader with a background in business administration or hospitality management, proven experience in hotel operations, sales, marketing, finance, and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences. The candidate should be open to working flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, and demonstrate a pattern of career growth and outstanding performance in the hospitality industry. The General Manager position offers an unparalleled opportunity to thrive within a thriving global brand known for its culture, values, and career development opportunities. Joining Sheraton means becoming part of an inclusive, diverse community that celebrates the unique backgrounds and talents of its associates while fostering professional growth and excellence.
