Job Requirements
- certified dietary manager (cdm) certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
- minimum bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- minimum 3 years management experience
- minimum 3 years functional experience
- passion for high level customer service and culinary arts
- background in seniors or healthcare
- ability to develop trust and build strong client relationships
- demonstrated experience managing a culinary team and human resource skillset
- hands-on and innovative leadership approach
- ability to work independently and make sound business decisions
- ability to manage multiple priorities
- strong financial acumen and budget management
- expertise in food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
Job Qualifications
- bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- minimum 3 years of management experience
- minimum 3 years of functional experience
- strong culinary production background ideally in healthcare or retail
- demonstrated experience managing a culinary team
- exceptional human resource skills
- strong financial acumen
- expertise in compliance to food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety
Job Duties
- have oversight of day-to-day dining and culinary operations
- control and ensure company and client financial targets and goals are achieved
- ensure that the highest possible standards of food handling and preparation are achieved
- provide technical training and expertise, coaching and leadership to the production team while working side by side in the operation as needed
