The position available is a Restaurant Manager role within Restaurant R'evolution, a fine dining establishment guided by Chef John Folse's visionary culinary legacy. This leadership role is pivotal in managing all service aspects of the restaurant, ensuring compliance with established standards and operational procedures. The manager will lead the team, including Front of House managers and the Chef de Cuisine, applying a strong focus on providing an exceptional fine dining experience that aligns with Sonesta’s renowned quality. Responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day restaurant activities, enforcing company policies and service standards, maintaining safety and hygiene compliance, handling guest relations, and ensuring financial and operational efficiency.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- minimum five years related work experience
- management experience required
- ServSafe certification
- ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
- capacity to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- good color vision

Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred
- five years related work experience plus management experience
- general manager experience preferred
- training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- ServSafe certified
- strong leadership and communication skills
- ability to manage and develop team members
- knowledge of fine dining service standards and protocols
- familiarity with food and beverage inventory management
- proficiency in budget and cost control

Job Duties
- Oversees and supervises day-to-day activities
- plans and organizes work
- communicates and enforces policies and procedures
- ensures prompt and efficient service of all meals, functions, and beverages to the required standards
- responsible for ensuring that Front of House staff are trained and follow SOPs and service standards
- provides staff counseling, coaching, and discipline as required
- ensures compliance with company and statutory hygiene standards
- ensures a safe working and guest environment to reduce risk of injury and accidents
- responds to guest complaints to improve satisfaction
- circulates throughout the restaurant maintaining high profile with customers and staff
- remains informed on industry trends and makes suggestions for improvement
- achieves budgeted revenues, controls expenses, labor costs, and maximizes profitability
- maintains procedures to ensure security and proper storage of inventory and equipment
- ensures all equipment is operational and cleaned regularly
- attends food and beverage meetings
- adheres to company standards to increase sales and minimize costs
- completes financial and payroll administrative duties accurately and timely
- maintains professional restaurant image including cleanliness and appearance
- develops employees by providing feedback and performance reviews
