We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Restaurant General Manager to lead and inspire our team. This full-time, in-person role offers a base salary ranging between $55,000 and $70,000 annually. Additionally, the position provides the opportunity to earn monthly and annual bonuses based on store metrics and performance, potentially increasing total compensation significantly.

In this leadership position, the successful candidate will be at the forefront of executing the brand's daily operations, ensuring that every aspect of the restaurant meets Mo' Bettahs' high standards. The General Manager will demonstrate competency in both front of house (FOH) and back of house (BOH) operations, ensuring cleanliness, customer satisfaction, and food quality are all maintained at exemplary levels. The role requires a hands-on leader who can drive sales growth, manage staff effectively, and foster an environment that exemplifies the aloha spirit.

Responsibilities also include serving as the primary point of contact for customer service, overseeing employee schedules, conducting weekly reports, and maintaining company standards on health, safety, sanitation, and security. The General Manager will collaborate closely with other key team members including Managers in Training, Off-Premise Coordinators, and Certified Trainers to coordinate successful weekly meetings and ensure operational efficiency.

An ideal candidate will have significant experience leading teams of up to 40 members in either business or food management settings with proven success in promoting and developing talent within teams. The ability to make difficult personnel decisions, multitask in a fast-paced environment, and maintain exceptional attention to detail are critical for this role. This leader will also embody the core values of Mo' Bettahs in their daily actions and interactions with customers, team members, and vendors alike.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and a valid driver’s license are essential for this role. The position demands regular and predictable attendance and requires physical activities such as lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting and standing for extended periods, and the ability to work in various environmental conditions. The working environment is dynamic and fast-paced, demanding a resilient and adaptive approach.

Job Duties

  • Lead the execution of the brand daily
  • Competent in all FOH & BOH positions
  • Responsible for the cleanliness of the restaurant, FOH & BOH
  • Responsible for same store sales growth
  • Responsible for line speed to be measured using transaction times
  • Serve as primary point of contact for all customer service matters and responsible for overall customer reviews
  • Handle the execution of quality food following proper procedures and Mo' Bettahs standards
  • Coordinate and lead weekly meetings with Manager in Training, Off-Premise Coordinator, and Certified Trainer
  • Review weekly employee schedules
  • Complete weekly reports, self-reporting, people PAR staffing guide, complete online ordering, inventory, etc.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of the Mo' Bettahs culture
  • Follow all company standards for health, safety, sanitation, security, and maintain a neat and clean appearance
  • Adhere to and ensure all employees follow proper policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook
