Job Description
We are collaborating with a distinguished luxury hospitality group to recruit a General Manager for an exclusive, high-touch cocktail-driven concept situated within an upscale hotel setting in the Southeast U.S., with a relocation opportunity available. This elevated hospitality group is renowned for its commitment to exceptional service, crafting unique guest experiences, and maintaining an environment that blends sophistication with relaxed luxury.
This role is unlike typical restaurant management positions. It caters to a dynamic leader who understands that managing a hospitality concept means curating not just operations but an immersive experience that resonates with guests on a personal level. The environment emphasizes relationship-building, where consistency, attention to personalized service, and a visible leadership presence create a memorable atmosphere for guests and members alike.
Working within a private, member-style atmosphere, the General Manager will lead a cocktail-focused operation that requires a refined balance of operational expertise and emotional intelligence. With a competitive compensation package that includes a $90,000 base salary plus a 10% bonus and comprehensive benefits, this role offers both financial reward and the opportunity for professional growth within a respected luxury hospitality group.
The General Manager will lead a diverse team of around 30 employees, ensuring that the service standards not only meet but exceed transactional service to create a genuine sense of belonging and personalized connection with guests. This role requires a hands-on leader who remains present during service, nurturing meaningful relationships that drive repeat visitation and brand loyalty.
Key to success in this position is strong operational oversight, including labor management, scheduling discipline, cost control, and driving profitability while maintaining impeccable hospitality standards. The General Manager will also be responsible for managing the profit and loss statements, balancing guest satisfaction with financial performance and supporting special programming, events, and seasonal activations to continuously elevate the guest experience.
Furthermore, recruiting, training, and developing a service-oriented team culture is central to the role. Coaching and mentoring staff in real time, setting clear expectations, and holding team members accountable fosters an environment where excellence thrives. The ideal candidate brings a polished yet approachable leadership style with a deep understanding of structured service cultures typically found in Forbes-level boutique luxury hotels or private clubs.
This position demands someone who embraces emotional intelligence and guest awareness alongside operational rigor. Leaders who prefer transactional or checklist management styles, who lack hands-on engagement, or demonstrate inconsistent operational or financial discipline are not suited for this role. Instead, the perfect candidate is a hospitality-first operator committed to creating an exceptional experience that goes beyond the ordinary, embodying the values and expectations of a premier luxury hospitality brand.
