Job Description
We are partnering with a renowned luxury hospitality group to hire a General Manager for a private, high-touch cocktail-driven concept situated within an upscale hotel environment in the Southeast U.S. This position offers an exciting relocation opportunity for the right candidate. The luxury hospitality group is known for its commitment to exceptional service and elevated guest experiences in carefully curated environments. With a dedication to personalized hospitality and creating memorable experiences, the group operates premium establishments that emphasize quality, ambiance, and relationship-driven service.
This General Manager role is far from a traditional restaurant management position. It is a unique opportunity designed for a leader who understands the importance of creating a meaningful experience for their guests rather than simply managing daily operations. The role requires a hands-on, highly visible presence in a member-style environment where consistency, personalization, and nurturing relationships are essential. The concept is cocktail-forward, involving a sophisticated, high-touch service style that elevates hospitality well beyond transactional interactions.
The position offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary of $90,000, a 10% annual bonus, and a full range of benefits, making it an attractive role for hospitality professionals seeking both growth and stability. The General Manager will oversee a team of approximately 30 members dedicated to delivering exceptional service, ensuring that every guest feels a strong sense of belonging and every visit is personalized to create lasting impressions.
Key responsibilities include leading the overall guest experience by fostering meaningful connections with members and consistently exceeding service standards. The General Manager will maintain a visible leadership role during service hours, setting the tone for the team and ensuring operations run smoothly while balancing the financial performance of the outlet. This role involves managing profit and loss, maintaining operational efficiency, and supporting programming and seasonal activations that enhance the venue's appeal.
This position requires a hospitality-first mindset, where emotional intelligence and strong guest awareness are paramount. The ideal candidate will be polished and professional, approachable and authentic, with the ability to lead by example on the floor. Experience in luxury hotel outlets, private clubs, or high-end standalone concepts is preferred, especially those with cocktail-forward or experiential service models. Candidates with strong financial and operational acumen who are comfortable working within structured service cultures — like Forbes-level or boutique luxury environments — will thrive in this role.
The General Manager will also be responsible for building and maintaining a vibrant team culture focused on service excellence. This includes recruiting, training, coaching, and mentoring team members, setting clear expectations, and maintaining accountability. A successful candidate will avoid transactional or checklist-style management, instead fostering a collaborative, relationship-based leadership style. Those who prefer a detached office-based approach or exhibit inconsistent operational or financial discipline will not be suitable fits.
This role offers significant growth and advancement opportunities within the luxury hospitality group, supported by a comprehensive benefits package that ensures both professional development and personal well-being. If you are passionate about leading a high-performing team in a sophisticated and intimate setting where your leadership creates an unparalleled guest experience, this is the perfect leadership opportunity for you.
