Job Description
We are partnering with a renowned luxury hospitality group to identify an exceptional General Manager for a unique, private, high-touch cocktail-driven concept situated within an upscale hotel environment in the Southeast U.S. This opportunity provides a relocation possibility for an ambitious hospitality professional looking to elevate their career. Distinguished from a traditional restaurant management role, this position offers the chance to lead a highly curated experience that prioritizes personalization and relationship-driven service in a member-style setting, where consistency and presence are paramount. The establishment itself is part of a luxury hotel, blending world-class hotel amenities with an exclusive cocktail lounge atmosphere, setting the stage for an immersive hospitality experience.
The General Manager role demands a dynamic leader capable of transcending routine operational management to actively craft memorable guest interactions and cultivate a strong sense of belonging among guests and members. Success in this role means maintaining an authentic and visible presence during operations, spearheading service standards that go beyond the transactional, and fostering an emotionally intelligent and polished approach to guest engagement. This opportunity is designed for a hands-on leader with significant experience managing teams within structured, high-end service cultures, particularly those that are cocktail-forward or focused on experiential hospitality.
A competitive compensation package includes a $90,000 base salary supplemented by a 10% annual bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, underscoring the value placed on talent retention and professional growth. Alongside financial rewards, this position supports continuous development with advancement opportunities in a sophisticated hospitality environment renowned for its commitment to service excellence and innovation.
The General Manager will oversee daily operations involving approximately 30 team members, emphasizing leadership that balances operational efficiency with guest satisfaction. This includes managing scheduling and labor disciplines to control costs prudently, while driving the overall profitability and financial performance of the venue. The General Manager will also play a pivotal role in supporting and leveraging programming, events, and seasonal activations to cultivate an engaging atmosphere that consistently draws repeat clientele.
Moreover, the leadership requirement extends to team building, recruiting, training, and mentoring staff to instill a service-driven culture marked by accountability and high standards. The ideal candidate will excel in coaching real-time service enhancements and fostering a collaborative and enthusiastic team dynamic.
Ideal candidates bring prior experience in luxury hotel outlets, private clubs, or standalone high-end concepts in the cocktail-forward or experiential sector. They possess strong financial acumen and operational expertise and flourish within structured service cultures such as Forbes-level or boutique luxury settings. Conversely, transactional or checklist-style leadership, remote management preferences, overly rigid corporate styles, or inconsistent financial and operational discipline are incompatible with this role.
This position offers an enriching career path for hospitality professionals who prioritize guest experience, operational excellence, and authentic leadership within the luxury hospitality industry.
