Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • One to three years of management experience preferred
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills
  • Experience managing customer-focused teams
  • Exceptional customer service and conflict resolution skills
  • Energetic and enthusiastic management style
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in teams
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand and walk continually
  • Ability to bend, crouch and reach
  • Ability to handle occasional exposure to toxic chemicals

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Recruit, hire, train and develop staff
  • Create and maintain a welcoming atmosphere
  • Schedule staff and ensure shift coverage
  • Ensure staff provides exceptional customer service
  • Lead by example and train direct reports
  • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll
  • Resolve employee issues and manage discipline
  • Greet members and guests
  • Answer phones and assist callers
  • Check members in and sign up new members
  • Facilitate member requests and resolve issues
  • Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of facility
  • Communicate equipment repair needs
  • Manage marketing efforts and train staff
  • Authorize expenditures and refunds
  • Make daily bank deposits
  • Prepare HR forms and send to Corporate HR
  • Track statistics and reports
  • Provide backup support for absent employees
  • Perform other club-related duties as assigned
