The role of General Manager at Legends Global is a critical leadership position overseeing Food & Beverage (F&B) operations at PNC Field, a 10,000-seat minor league baseball stadium in Moosic, Pennsylvania, situated in the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area. This role demands a dynamic and results-driven individual to ensure operational excellence and financial success across concessions, premium hospitality, catering, and special event F&B services. The General Manager carries full P&L responsibilities, focusing on budgeting, forecasting, and cost control to maximize revenue and profitability. Additionally, they play a pivotal role in driving the guest experience by maintaining high service standards, ensuring quality food offerings, and fostering innovative approaches that reflect local tastes and evolving trends.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a high-performing team, including managers, supervisors, and hourly staff, emphasizing recruitment, training, and development to promote continuous growth and accountability. This role also requires collaboration with culinary leadership, venue management, and local stakeholders to optimize labor management, vendor relationships, and inventory controls. Compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations is paramount to this position. Beyond regular game days, the General Manager will oversee the flawless execution of concerts, special events, and premium hospitality experiences such as VIP areas and suites. The role involves working non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, often requiring flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. The position requires physical stamina to perform sustained tasks such as standing and walking for up to 10 hours, lifting 25 pounds, and navigating stairs or ramps. Job Requirements

  • Must be able to work extended hours including late nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Must have sufficient mobility to perform tasks including reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods
  • Specific vision abilities including close vision and ability to adjust focus
  • Must be flexible to work all games and major stadium events
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull approximately 25lbs
  • Must be able to stand and or walk up to 10 hours during a single shift
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changes
  • Ability to work independently and as team player
  • Must adhere to Legends Global and venue company policies

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 5-7 years of management experience in contract foodservice industry
  • At least 3 years of experience in premium services or equivalent in sports and entertainment venues
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline-oriented environment
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Customer service oriented with ability to interact with all levels of management
  • Experience with Appetize and NCR/Quest point-of-sale systems
  • Knowledge of accounting policies and procedures preferred
  • Experience in union work environment preferred

Job Duties

  • Lead and oversee all day-to-day food and beverage operations across concessions, suites, clubs, and catering services
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive revenue growth, profitability, and per-cap spending
  • Ensure exceptional guest experience through quality food, service efficiency, and innovative offerings
  • Manage full P&L responsibilities, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost controls
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of managers, supervisors, and hourly staff
  • Implement and maintain Legends' operational standards, policies, and service protocols
  • Collaborate with culinary leadership to design menus that reflect local tastes and trends
