NoMad Hotel Detroit is an upcoming luxury lifestyle hospitality destination set to redefine elegance and immersive experiences in the heart of Detroit at the iconic Michigan Central Station. Expecting to open in 2027, this property will be the first of its kind in the U.S. by NoMad and Hilton, featuring approximately 180 guestrooms and 30 suites located in previously unused upper floors of a historic landmark. The hotel is designed to blend historic grandeur with modern sophistication, offering stunning views of Corktown, downtown Detroit, and across to Canada. The property will highlight NoMad's signature culinary and design-driven approach, presenting unique restaurant and bar concepts housed within revitalized historic spaces that celebrate Detroit’s rich cultural and artistic heritage. In addition to elegant accommodations, guests will benefit from bespoke wellness facilities and carefully curated amenities reflecting the city’s vibrant culture and design legacy. Positioned as a memorable destination for both travelers and locals, NoMad Detroit will embody elevated design, immersive guest experiences, and deeply rooted local connections within a dynamic, creative environment.

The General Manager role at NoMad Hotel Detroit demands a visionary leader who can personify the hotel’s brand by leading the team in delivering refined hospitality blended with culinary artistry and design-driven luxury. The General Manager is responsible for crafting an immersive guest experience while driving operational excellence and fostering a culture that reflects NoMad’s spirit of creativity and innovation. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 10 years in hotel management with more than five years in senior leadership roles, specifically within luxury or lifestyle boutique hotels. Expertise in food and beverage operations aligned with NoMad’s dining-forward philosophy, alongside strong financial acumen and operational mastery in boutique hospitality profitability models, is essential. Exceptional interpersonal skills and a dynamic leadership style are necessary to inspire a team driven by passion and creativity. By partnering with local artists, designers, and cultural influencers, the General Manager plays a pivotal role in enriching the hotel’s identity and guest experiences that resonate with Detroit’s community and culture. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead a flagship property that embraces innovation, authenticity, and elevated hospitality in one of America's revitalizing urban centers. The employment is with an independent franchisee, with details about compensation and benefits controlled by the franchise.
