The General Manager role at Spinx is a full-time leadership position offering an attractive compensation package with average total earnings of up to $56,000 annually. Additional financial incentives include an average monthly bonus ranging from $500 to $1000 based on store performance and an average annual profit-sharing amount of $1000. The position is designed for candidates who are enthusiastic about driving store performance, leading teams, and providing an exceptional customer experience. As a General Manager, your responsibilities will encompass all aspects of store operations including food service management, safety, staff recruitment, training, scheduling, and supervision.
This role demands an individual who can balance operational efficiency with a customer-first mindset. You will be tasked with ensuring that Spinx's brand standards are upheld consistently, executing marketing programs effectively, managing expenses, controlling inventory and shortages, and strictly enforcing company policies and programs. Training for this role includes comprehensive computer-based courses for newly hired employees, mandatory ServSafe certification, and specialized training of 4-6 weeks focused on both food and beverage and retail operations, ensuring you are well equipped to lead your team.
Leadership is at the core of this position. You will be expected to direct and coordinate a team of 3 to 15 store employees and 1 to 4 management team members. Your leadership will contribute to fostering an open, inviting atmosphere that prioritizes customer needs and encourages staff dedication. Maximizing sales and profitability will be a key focus, requiring a demonstration of pride, enthusiasm, and determination in all operational areas while adhering to established budgets. Additionally, you will be responsible for planning and preparing work schedules to guarantee sufficient staffing during peak hours and special occasions.
The position involves a significant time commitment with a requirement to work approximately 50 hours per week. Flexibility is essential as shifts may include nights, weekends, and holidays. Physical demands include the ability to lift and move up to 10 pounds regularly, and occasionally up to 25 to 50 pounds. Candidates ideally have a four-year college degree or at least two years of related retail management experience and training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A valid in-state driver’s license with required auto insurance and a clean motor vehicle report are mandatory, alongside achieving and maintaining NRE certification.
